A Product With Options
|
This is a dummy item illustrating that one or two options can be set, such as for Size and Color. Options can be set to any similar key/value pair and thus do not have to be size and color.
Item weight can optionally be specified if shipping is required. Shipping charges can be set per item, or based on the weight of the order, or based on the dollar amount of the sale. Although not currently implemented, the collection of sales tax could be based on the shipping address provided by the registered user. The only payment method currently implemented is the display of a PayPal button at check out. Registered users can view a list of prior invoices which the Admin can subsequently mark as Fulfilled and/or Paid. As currently configured, large images or additional product information could be launched in a pop-up window. A minimal Search feature is included. Sales, user logons, and failed queries (if any) are also logged to a series of date-based log files (.TXT). The menu displayed across the top and bottom of the page can be easily replaced with a drop-down select box. |
